Set up to help fund the soon-to-be built Oklahoma History Center, and originally called the Friends of the Oklahoma Museum of History, Inc., the Friends of the Oklahoma History Center has been there hand in hand every step with the OHS to help present the story of Oklahoma at the OHC.

The Board of Directors meets quarterly to oversee private donations and funding to support the state owned facilities. Each Director has their own ties to the history of Oklahoma and are dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing those stories and others at the OHC.
